CAUCUS

January 23, 2013 Clerk’s Office 7:00 pm.

There were 11 people in attendance.

President Krause chaired the Caucus.

Nominations were required for Village President to succeed Dan Krause, and Village Trustee to succeed Wayne Rau, Karen Dunlap and Debra Koncel.

President Krause announced nominations for Trustee will be accepted from the floor; the following nominations with seconds were received:

? Pam Leichtman nominated Debra Koncel for Trustee, Karen Dunlap seconded the nomination.

? Debra Koncel nominated Karen Dunlap for Trustee, Pam Leichtman seconded the nomination.

? Wayne Rau nominated David Decker for Trustee, Darin Kussrow seconded the nomination.

? Wayne Rau nominated Darin Kussrow for Trustee, Connie Decker seconded the nomination.

President Krause called for further nominations from the floor; no further nominations were offered; President Krause stated that nominations for the Village Trustee were closed.

President Krause announced nominations for Village President will be accepted from the floor; the following nominations with seconds were received:

? Pam Leichtman nominated Debra Koncel for Village President, Connie Decker seconded the nomination.

? Darin Kussrow nominated Wayne Rau for Village President, Karen Dunlap seconded the nomination.

President Krause called for further nominations from the floor; no further nominations were offered: President Krause stated that nominations for the Village President were closed.

Debra Koncel, Karen Dunlap, Darin Kussrow, and Wayne Rau have completed Campaign Registration Statement (GAB-1) and Declaration of Candidacy (GAB-162) forms and have returned the forms to the Village Clerk within the 5 day requirement of Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 5:00 pm.

Dorchester Librarian, Sue Bedroske drew names for placement on the ballot:

Village President: 1. Debra Koncel 2. Wayne Rau

Trustee: 1. Karen Dunlap 2. Darin Kussrow 3. Debra Koncel

Spring General Election: Tuesday, April 2, 2013.

Polls open: 7:00 am to 8:00 pm

Village of Dorchester polling place: Village Hall located at 188 S. Second Street, Dorchester, WI 54425
