Village of Dorchester Board Meeting
Wednesday, May 9, 2012: 6:00 PM Village Clerk’s Office, 228 W. Washington Ave, Dorchester, WI
President Krause called meeting to order at 6:03 PM. Pledge of Allegiance was said. Trustees Schauer, Dunlap, Schwoch, and Koncel were present. Trustee Seubert and Trustee Rau were absent. Also present was Clerk-Treasurer Heins, Dick Hunsader and Gary Leichtman.
The Village Board discussed fees for Temporary Operator and Temporary Class “B” Retailer’s Licenses. A motion was made by Koncel, seconded by Dunlap to not charge license fees for Temporary Operator and Temporary Class “B” Retailer’s Licenses. Motion carried.
President Krause stated the Lions Club will run the concession stand for the Dorchester Park Corp. until the Dorchester Park Corp. license is approved; start date for license is July 1, 2012. A motion was made by Koncel, seconded by Schauer to approve a Temporary Class “B” License) for the sale of Fermented malt Beverages at a Gathering or Picnic) for the Dorchester Lions. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Dunlap, seconded by Schwoch to approve Temporary Operator Licenses for Mary Winchell: Dorchester Park Concession Stand, and Becky Von Loh: Heartland Co-Operative C Store.
A motion was made by Schwoch, seconded by Koncel to allow the Village Clerk to issue Temporary Operator Licenses and Temporary Class “B” Retailer’s Licenses without Village Board approval pending background check. Motion carried.
Dorchester Village wide Garage Sale dates are June 7, 8, 9.
President Krause stated Open Book and Board of Review dates have been set for Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Clerk’s Office, 228 W. Washington Ave.
A motion was made by Koncel, seconded by Schauer to adjourn. Motion carried. Adjourned 6:20 pm.
